The role will involve supporting the Group HR function and advising on general employment law matters and claims in the Europe and Africa region.

The role covers:

• Providing practical and strategic legal advice to HR and business unit managers on a wide range of employment law issues across several jurisdictions in the Europe and Africa region;
• Liaising with other regions’ HR leads to ensure a consistent approach to employment-related issues within the Group;
• Advising on and drafting internal employment policies and procedures and employment law guidance notes;
• Handling and supporting employment grievances, disputes, claims and investigations;
• Providing employment law training;
• Supporting colleagues in the Group Legal Department and other functions;
• Managing external counsel where required.
