The Role

Senior Associate / Partner to join L500-ranked Planning team in Bristol Top 100 firm.

Due to continued investment, a Senior Associate, or Partner-level Planning Solicitor has the opportunity to thrive in one of UK's leading teams.

Working alongside senior colleagues, you will advice on planning matters, from planning obligations, highways and infrastructure, community infrastructure levy, lawful development certificates and supporting other teams in the firm on property acquisitions and disposals.

You will manage contentious matters also, such as enforcement, compulsory purchase, judicial reviews, statutory challenges and appeals.

Working with existing clients whilst engaging with new ones, your high level of influence in the firm will see you expand the team and contribute to long-term strategic decisions, opening the doors to move upwards in the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years PQE experience within advisory and contentious planning
  • Results-driven BD, and client engagement
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Working alongside business leaders
  • Utilising continued opportunities for progression
