The firm is widely regarded as one of the leading Regional Law firms in the Midlands. They have won prestigious awards and are seen to be one of the strongest mid-sized practices in the UK. At present they have a plethora of accreditation and panel memberships which helped them hit new heights in recent times.
As a mid-sized practice this firm have been able to maintain a collegiate atmosphere whilst working at the highest level. The voice of every individual is heard here, and the average length of service is close to 10 years. The open-door policy retains talent and ensures that people are included in the growth and progression of a deep-rooted practice.
They have recently developed new systems used for clients which have resulted in a business development capacity generating a significantly increased workflow. The firm is the type of practice where people enjoy coming into the office, they do regular social events throughout the year.
The Role
This firm are looking for an Employment Solicitor 2 years + PQE to join their successful practice in Birmingham.
The team find that good results are achieved by working closely with clients and building up relationships of trust and mutual respect. The firm are looking for an individual with the drive and hunger to help build up the firm's caseload on a long-term basis.
This vacancy has arisen due to the incredibly large amount of work that an established Partner has on at the moment. They have been with the firm for several years and needs the support of a mid-level Lawyer to assist.
Due the nature of the work, a lot of this work will be contentious, so an experienced Solicitor with experience in this field will be preferred.
Requirements
- You will be experienced in handling an Employment caseload with autonomy
- You will be personable, and thrive on client contact
- Comfortable handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters
