Senior Associate / Counsel / Partner - Banking & Finance (British Virgin Islands)

Prominent offshore law firm is keen to hear from talented Senior Associate/Counsel level lawyers with considerable banking & finance experience for its highly rated BVI office. Offering a clear route to Partnership, this opportunity will appear to those that have the ability to attract clients and win new business. Established Partners would also be of interest, albeit the business case expectations will be higher and more immediate. Previous career stability is essential in all cases, given the strategic importance of this hire to the firm. 

Admitted to practice in England & Wales with an absolute minimum of 5yrs PQE gained within a top flight onshore or offshore law firm, applicants will have experience spanning a wide range of work to include acquisition & loan finance, debt capital markets, derivatives / structured finance, fund finance, note issuances, security enforcement and distressed debt, workouts, asset-based and property finance and project finance transactions. 

The work on offer is varied, challenging and will require the successful applicant to take immediate responsibility for multiple deals, dealing directly with clients and onshore counsel while taking responsibility for junior lawyers and support staff.
