An exciting opportunity has become available at a national, clinical negligence specialist firm with offices near Manchester and London. My client is a Legal500 recommended firm, that are market leaders with over 20 years experience within the clinical negligence field.
Role overview

This role offers the opportunity to join an experienced team of litigators that has been growing year on year. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive to join the team running a full clinical negligence and dental negligence claimant caseload.

The right candidate would have extensive litigation experience and a proven track record of running of claimant cases from start to finish, both pre and post issue.

The role includes but is not limited to:-

Drafting letters of claim
Instructing experts
Assessing quantum
Negotiating settlements
Instructing counsel
Attending conferences with counsel and experts
Attending Case Management Conferences and application hearings
Drafting witness statements
Litigating cases to settlement or Trial

Personal specification

Law degree
2+ years PQE with significant clinical negligence / multi-track personal injury experience
Litigation experience
Client management skills and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of clients' expectations
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines
A confident communicator
