The Role

NQ to 2 PQE Banking Solicitor to join L500 team in Cardiff Top 100 firm

The Legal 500 ranked team acts for many regional, national and international lenders and borrowers on all of their funding requirements, from commercial property funding to large scale corporate refinancing.

Headed by a Partner whose leadership has seen the team grow to an international level of exposure, working with all lender types in transactions within healthcare, sport, leisure, real estate, energy and the public sector to name a few. You will be involved in acquisition and investment finance, leveraged finance, scheme facilities, development finance and renewable energy finance, be it working independently or on team projects.

The team work at a capacity and prowess usually associated with the City that's unique to Cardiff, the office isn't stuffy, beauracratic or overly corporate.

As this is a growth role, the Head Partner is committed to providing continued mentoring, with the firm investing in the team long-term.

The Requirements

• NQ+ experience in corporate, banking or finance.
• Ideally, prior finance transactions experience advising lenders, borrowers and investors
• High attention to deal, commercial awareness and legal acumen
• Confidence and interpersonal skills when engaging with clients
• Passion for what you do, welcoming ongoing career development opportunities
