Job Details
We are working with a highly regarded Top 50 Firm who are looking for an experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join them for a contract of 6 months. The contract is due to start ASAP, however, they are willing to wait for the right individual should they have a 4-6 week notice period.
The successful individual will be joining a ranked team in advising financial institutions, funds, developers and investors on all aspects of real estate finance transactions, including acquisition, development and structured financings (both borrower and lender side).
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing transactions, to include drafting and negotiating finance documents and managing conditions precedent process, acting for borrowers and lenders.
- Working on a range of transactions with a primary focus on property acquisition finance and development finance (borrower and lender side).
- Liaising with clients and advising on key legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
- The ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, is imperative.
Candidates will have gained their experience from notable real estate finance teams or recognised banking/finance teams; possess upwards of 5 years' PQE and be available at short notice or immediately.
Individuals with broader banking & finance experience, with some Real Estate Finance exposure, are also encouraged to apply. Candidates who have had some time out from work and are looking to re-enter the market will also be considered.
This role can be entirely remote or be split between remote and office-based working (when offices re-open).
