Our client are looking to recruit an ambitious Lawyer to join their growing international venture capital team based in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will have 4-7 years PQE and will play a senior role in a thriving corporate and venture capital team. You will lead on core venture capital work, as well as be given the opportunity to support the wider corporate team within the firm.

As a senior member of the team, you will manage all aspects of corporate and venture capital work relevant to IP-rich, high-growth technology and life sciences companies, overseeing and developing other members of the team. The team advises clients at all stages of a company's life-cycle, and you would be expected to be as comfortable advising on early-stage company formation and pre-seed financings as you would advising on later-stage venture and growth funding rounds and exits and specifically M&A.

You will be exposed to a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs and scientists, to seasoned and serial founders and investors in the venture capital community and mature companies. The role will also provide you the opportunity to drive forward a particular sector or area that is your passion within our clients' expanding global practice and take advantage of the exciting opportunity to be a part of strategic growth across EU, APAC and US.

The ideal candidate will need to show excellent academics and the benefit of a broad training in a well-regarded Corporate department.
