Legal Counsel- M&A Energy and Infrastructure Focus, Leading Financial Institution

The Corporate Advisory/Investment Banking Arm of this leading global Investment Bank offer global capability in M&A advisory, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, Principal Finance and Equity Trading. They are currently looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a lawyer with strong Energy and/or Infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide robust legal advice (including reviewing and negotiating transaction documents), focused on the Infrastructure and Energy business, including mergers & acquisitions, financing and disposals by the business as principal investor, consortium and joint venture arrangements, development and construction stage infrastructure and renewables investments, public private partnerships and project finance. 
  • Involved with coordinating and managing the provision of external legal advice.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experienced M&A Lawyer with 3-7 years’ post qualified experience  
  • Strong experience in either mergers and acquisitions or projects.
  • Experience working on infrastructure and/or renewables projects would be beneficial.
  • Spanish language skills would be advantageous
