The Role


Data and Information Solicitor (4+ PQE) required to join a leading team in the heart of Central London.


You will join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm and work across their data protection and information law matters.

You'll work closely with a very experienced Partner within a key department for the firm, as well as other fee earners which regularly advise on GDPR and data protection related matters.

The sectors they tend to operate in include the Education and Charity sectors. The department houses a wealth of expertise. You will find that there is always a broad range of work, making for a more interesting role.

You'll work to ensure that for the firm's clients, there is consistent compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, including T's&C's/policy updates, advising on/assisting with data requests, breach handling, responding to ICO investigations, etc.

You'll also be involved in information law matters, such as freedom of information, environmental information regulations & information related aspects of cyber security/marketing.

Requirements:

  • England & Wales qualified Solicitor in Data/Regulatory 4 PQE and up - (no upper limit of PQE for this role)
  • Attention to detail and ability to see issues from a commercial perspective.
  • Keen, driven and ambitious attitude to provide the highest levels of services to clients
