North East

I am working with a market leading North East practice based in Newcastle city centre who are looking for a Construction lawyer with circa 5 years PQE to join their expanding construction and engineering team.

You will be joining one of the pre-eminent firms in the region and in the North acting for high profile and large clients both regionally, nationally and internationally.

The role is a non-contentious construction role and you will be dealing with the full remit of non-contentious matters from drafting both standard and bespoke construction contracts, procurement, and advising on expansion projects, developments and regeneration.

In terms of background you will be coming from a well respected construction team.  You will be competent to deal with the full range of industry form contracts documents (such as NEC and JCT), as well as advising on construction law and strategy in relation to claims and ideally, with experience in adjudications and dispute resolution in the Technology and Construction Court. 

The work and clients are high level and you are guaranteed to be joining a team that is a leading name in the provision of commercial advice in the North.
