Childcare Paralegal

LAW Absolute are working with a local authority in North West London in their search for a Childcare Paralegal on a 12-month locum basis.

The successful Childcare Paralegal will be required to hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision.  Childcare Paralegals within the team undertake the following tasks:

• Prepare bundles.
• Draft documents/applications.
• Handle a small PLO caseload.
• Deal with S.7 and S.37 reports.
• Assist the solicitors in the team with administrative tasks.
• Liaise with Counsel.

It is essential that you have previous experience in all of the areas above as this is not a training opportunity role. Previous local government experience is advantageous. Candidates with private sector experience are encouraged to apply, so long as they have assisted on public childcare mattes.
