Job Details
In response to an ever-increasing pipeline of work across regulatory and financial services for a host of major hedge fund managers, private equity firms and international corporations, this leading offshore law firm is keen to hear from high calibre lawyers with at least 3+ PQE for opportunities in their expanding Cayman practice.
Applicants will ideally hail from a recognised offshore or international law firm and be admitted to practice in Cayman, England & Wales or another qualifying Commonwealth jurisdiction. An excellent academic pedigree is essential, as is a forensic attention to detail and ability to handle multiple work streams, in what is a dynamic, fast paced environment. The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Advising clients on a wide range of financial services regulatory and compliance matters such as AML/CFT, Data Protection, FACTA/CRS and other international initiatives such as the OECD BEPS regime, as well as contentious and non-contentious advice, such as regulatory reporting obligations.
- Liaising with regulatory, administrative and enforcement authorities.
- Researching, analysing and developing policy and legislation.
