The commercial team in Birmingham work alongside their commercial colleagues throughout the UK on domestic matters and alongside their commercial colleagues at the firm’s global offices for clients throughout Europe, Americas, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

The commercial team at this top 20 UK practice act for clients across a range of sectors including energy (nuclear, oil & gas, renewable, and natural resources), manufacturing and diversified industrials, transport and infrastructure, aerospace and defence, financial services, hospitality and leisure, technology, life sciences, and digital markets.

The successful commercial lawyer joining this highly reputable commercial practice in Birmingham will undertake broad, complex, challenging, and high value commercial work which will include (but not be limited to):
 

• Outsourcing
• Intellectual Property
• Distribution and Agency
• Data Protection
• Supply-chain
• Procurement
• Joint Ventures

This position is ideally suited to junior commercial lawyers between one and two years’ PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• Training and post-qualified experience in commercial law
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• An enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management
