QC Legal is working with this Top 25 law firm in their search for a senior lawyer to join their market leading commercial litigation team. You will have at least 3 years’ previous experience and significant expertise in data and cyber security disputes. Intrigued?
The Role
- You will be dealing with data breaches, civil claims and litigation risk under GDPR, ICO investigations, claims against online platforms, FOIA requests and contentious data subject access requests.
- You will be joining a market leading practice which is ever-growing in tech and data disputes. Our client has acted on several high-profile cases in this area in recent years.
- In terms of contentious cases, the team regurlaly advises on (non exhaustive): claims for misuse of private information, breach of confidence and breach of statutory duty under data protection legislation arising out of data breaches, in addition to, the usual scope of contractual claims such as unlawful termination, breach of warranty, delay etc.
