This media business is delivers world-class content from sport and media to news and entertainment in a number of countries around the world.

The Opportunity

An opportunity now exists to join the business as Head of Legal / General Counsel for 6 months, ideally starting in June. The role is as much about advising the company on the running of the business as it is about specific media matters. With two other lawyers in the team, the role is broad and will suit and individual who enjoys variety and who can step in and work directly with senior management from day one.

Responsibilities will include leading on a variety of high value, business critical commercial contracts and transactions, advising on compliance and regulatory changes, managing risk, overseeing the company secretarial function, managing data privacy issues and protecting the brand and reputation of the company.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an agile and growing player in the sought-after media sector with responsibility from day one.

About You

A strong commercial contracts and a media background is essential. You must have experience working with and advising senior management and you must have demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced environment in a varied role. A desire to work in a broad ranging in-house position, ideally in the media sector, with experience of managing is also essential.
