Looking to take your legal career to the next level? QC Legal is pleased to be working with an internationally renowned firm in their search for a white - collar crime Litigation Associate. We’re looking for an ambitious UK qualified lawyer with the appetite to excel beyond the boundaries of a job description. Sound like you?
What do we need you to do?
- You will have at least 4 years’ previous experience in criminal law and will be used to advising companies. You will be based in either Manchester or Leeds and already have proven track record in delivering complex solutions to complex problems.
- Your work will be focused on financial crime advice for companies, including internal investigations and mitigation strategies, corporate criminal defence (acting in investigations by the SFO, FCA, HMRC, police), compliance advice (anti-bribery and anti-money laundering), and criminal law technical advice.
- The role will present you with great opportunities to expand your expertise and to grow your own practice in the north of England. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the confidence, ambition and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Our client has advised on a myriad of projects including but not limited to European Governments, corporates and major financial institutions on restitution and negligence claims, negotiations with HMRC and full-blown advocacy with complex and cross border elements.
