Corporate Media Associate - 4-7PQE

Pure Search are instructed on a rare opportunity for a mid-senior level corporate associate looking to enter the media, entertainment and sports market.

The Company:

Our client is a law firm who are one of the leading names in the media and entertainment space, with significant international reach, an enviable client base and excellent progression structure. Their brand is extremely highly regarded and would allow an associate with previous experience of technology, media or sports transactions, or an associate with a genuine desire to enter this space, the opportunity to join a true market leader.

They have an incredibly impressive client base including digital music platforms, Premier League football clubs, on-demand TV and film providers and international fashion, media and music brands.

The Role:

You will be exposed to a broad range of M&A (buyer and sale side), corporate finance, shareholder agreements, reorganisation, restructuring and reinvestment. You will have significant scope to run transactions on your own with minimal supervision.

You will experience high levels of client contact from day 1 in a relaxed and down-to-earth environment where you will have a huge opportunity and platform to develop your own client base, with an eye on partnership in the medium term.

About You:

You will have 4-7 years post-qualification corporate experience at a leading UK law firm. Previous sector experience working with technology, media or sports clients would be beneficial, but is not essential.

You may be someone that has considered making the move to working with media and entertainment clients for some time and are now at the stage where you are either considering a career in-house or a shift towards something that will provide genuine longevity in your career for the long term. You should have a keen interest in business development, with significant scope to network both in London and internationally, both virtually and in person.
