This London Investment Management and Funds team is part of a global group that is one of the largest and most experienced funds groups internationally offering exceptional depth of knowledge and experience. As a result, the group acts on a very broad range of matters and for a variety of clients including investment managers, brokers, custodians, fund service providers and operating platforms as well as open- and closed-end funds such as UCITS, hedge funds, private funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and segregated institutional portfolios.

The team in London is currently looking for a regulatory lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience. The role will suit a practical and proactive lawyer who has experience of advising asset managers and ideally a background, and/or interest, in a range of areas regulated by the FCA and PRA including asset management, broking, derivatives trading, payment services, banking, e-money, fintech/crowdfunding, consumer financial services, insurance mediation, money laundering.

Whilst experience of asset management would be of most interest (including AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID, PRIIPs), the firm would also value other financial services-related or corporate experience which is not pure regulatory, especially funds establishment and documentation experience.
