QC Legal are working with this top tier firm to pinpoint their next planning associate to join their Manchester planning and real estate team. Sound like you?

The Role

  • The role will cover the full range of planning work and includes strategic planning advice, legal review of planning applications, and advice on CIL, planning obligations, planning appeals/inquiries and enforcement. In addition to acting for clients on pure planning matters, our client also provide support to the real estate, corporate and projects teams from time to time. 
  • Your clients will range from PLCs to start-ups, high net worth individuals and landowners, more than 120 universities, colleges and education bodies and over 100 healthcare organisations.

Who are we looking for?

  • You will have at least 2 years’ prior experience in planning law gained in private practice in a Manchester, London or large regional firm or local authority. 
  • You will have good academics – 2:1 degree or equivalent and good A Levels.
  • You will be a proactive team player and demonstrate a flexibility to work with several team member.
  • You will have strong technical, numeracy and negotiating skills and be able to demonstrate this.
  • Our client has also placed an emphasis on advocacy skills.
