In House Legal Counsel – EMEA - Sofia

We are seeking a commercially minded, positive, proactive and team-orientated lawyer with German language skills to join our client’s EMEA legal team. The position will primarily support on contracts (both client and vendor/supplier side) in EMEA, but will also get involved in projects and working with the EMEA Legal team more generally as required.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•             Successfully drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalising contracts for clinical and commercial services as well as contracts with vendors/suppliers. Some contracts might be in German.

•             Support on projects and process improvement initiatives and work with other members of Business Legal as appropriate together with both in-house regional and/or external counsel across the relevant jurisdictions, as well as all relevant SMEs.

•             Serve as point of contact for contract-related questions from various internal stakeholders

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience as well as worked in a commercial environment (at top-rated law firm or in-house at a multinational company) with proven experience of handling client contracting matters in EMEA and strong knowledge and experience in a broad range of commercial contracts and legal-risk areas.
