Real Estate Finance Solicitor - 2-4PQE
Pure Search are instructed by a leading City law firm with one of the leading Real Estate practices in the London market, looking to grow their Real Estate Finance team.
Sitting within the wider Banking & Finance group, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team offering a good work/life balance and high levels of client contact. Our client is widely regarded as one of the leading names in the real estate market, providing an extremely high quality of real estate finance matters, often working on multimillion pound portfolios for a range of domestic and international clients.
The role will involve working predominantly with lenders in preparing reports on title, enabling lenders to determine whether to provide funding for a real estate transaction. You will be involved in the full life cycle of a transaction, from instruction to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Raising mortgagee enquiries in respect of property finance instructions
- Drafting reports on title/certificates of title for lenders
- Assisting with satisfying conditions precedent in respect of loans
- Working with the wider team to finalise security and other finance documents
- Dealing with all post-completion enquiries and processing all finance documentation.
This represents a great opportunity for someone either looking for a more relaxed work/life balance compared to larger City/international firms or a step up to a highly-regarded City firm and the chance to work with major household name challenger banks.
You will have at least two-years post-qualification experience as part of a general finance, real estate or real estate finance team. You should have experience acting for banks and lenders and be comfortable handling a high volume work load which requires you to work under pressure at times.
You will be looking to join a firm where there is a big focus on career development. This will be raised and explained as part of the interview process to provide both transparency and reassurances around how a solicitor can progress as part of the team.
