Job Details
We are looking for experienced commercial property solicitors with development experience. You will be required to lead on complex property transactions, negotiating key issues with public and private sector bodies, meeting policy and value for money requirements. The role will involve delivery of commercial property support on a variety of capital programmes including Free Schools.
As a member of the Real Estate team, you will form part of a wider division which includes c.40 legal managers and commercial managers, who are qualified solicitors with experience in private practice, industry, and local government. You will be required to work closely with colleagues across the division.
Using your expertise, you will work with our external legal advisors, internal project and technical teams and provide in-house property legal input on complex property transactions across DfE teams and capital programmes. You will need to have a flexible, responsive approach with proven business delivery skills, provide advice, challenge using evidence and develop the most creative solutions to the most demanding problems.
