The Role
You will join a highly regarded national firm and work as part of the firm's in-house privacy team, supporting Lawyers within the firm.
You'll work closely with a very experienced Partner within a key department for the firm, as well as other fee earners which regularly advise on GDPR and data protection related matters.
The sectors they tend to operate in include the Education and Charity sectors. The department houses a wealth of expertise. You will find that there is always a broad range of work assisting many key practice areas at the firm.
You'll also be involved in information law matters, such as freedom of information, environmental information regulations & information related aspects of cyber security/marketing.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge base in data protection matters
- Experience of working with key stakeholders within an organisation
- Experience of advising on data protection in a commercial environment, including advising on GDPR, drafting privacy notices, negotiating and drafting data protection clauses with suppliers and advising on marketing issues
