Senior Tax Lawyer / Director

This highly acclaimed international law firm are looking for a Senior Tax Lawyer to join their ranks and take a leading role within their national team. This opportunity would suit someone wanting to be in a firm where there is access to top notch clients and work, where they can challenge themselves and where there is plenty of scope for career progression too.

The team are particularly well known for their work on private equity investment, both corporate and real estate, structuring investment for institutional investors as well as acting for public and third sector organisations. In addition we have particular expertise in capital projects in particular those involving real estate, real estate finance or development. Perhaps offering the broadest scope of work across the entire team they undertake work of an international dimension too and this is something that they would actively like you to get involved in

This role in particular will have a focus on tax aspects related to corporate support work, employment, property development work and share schemes. There will be plenty of opportunity for direct client contact as they certainly encourage that of all of their lawyers and these clients genuinely range from AIM listed clients and large plc's through to SMEs and public bodies. Beyond fee earning they are looking for someone who is also interested in mentoring and developing more junior colleagues. As well as being a qualified Solicitor they would encourage applications from those who also hold recognised tax qualifications, and if you don't hold these already have been very supportive of those looking to acquire them once within the practice.
