Legal Counsel

Our client, a rapidly-growing tech company based in Cambridge, is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic in-house lawyer to join their growing legal team. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years PQE, and will join the team at an exciting time for the business.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, the main focus of the role will be on data protection and privacy matters, however the post-holder will also be responsible for key commercial and technology projects both in the UK and globally, including intellectual property, licensing, commercial relationships and contracts and litigation.

The successful candidate will become the go-to contact for data protection matters within the business, and will interact with people at all levels, including senior stakeholders. As such they will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. 

Working as part of a collaborative team, this is a role for someone who thrives in building strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business to help us achieve our objectives.
