Job Details
Our client is a leading fintech brokerage sector business who provide trading solutions in equities, fixed income, currencies, futures and options at a fraction of the cost of bank retail brokerage. Working closely with the EMEA General Counsel, this individual will be primary liaison-point with the CBI and the MoF in Ireland, advising on the regulatory treatment of the business by the Irish regulator and ensuring regulation is applied in keeping with the CBI’s interpretation of regulations. A MiFID II firm, the business require a candidate with strong sell-side or intermediary experience in this role.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be an Irish qualified lawyer with exposure to cash sales and trading OR regulatory law work OR to sell-side securities work and associated regulatory content.
A wide-ranging role, you will take responsibility not just for regulation but also for litigation, complaints, commercial contracts and corporate governance matters.
