An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading law firm based in Sheffield City Centre as a Housing Disrepair Litigator. This is an extremely interesting role due to its varied nature as you will advise Clients of the firm on a wide array of housing disrepair matters, helping them ultimately to reach a resolution on their legal matters.
You will advise on a multitude of housing disrepair matters including heating, plumbing, leaks, structural and window disrepairs at Client's properties. You will advise Clients from the start of the claim through to completion, initially assessing and advising the Clients of the the likelihood of success. You will run your own caseload and be proactive throughout and show excellent levels of client care.
You will ideally have excellent previous experience as a litigator in this field of law and possess the associated technical skills. You will also be a confident individual who can be assertive and confident with Clients but also remain calm when needed. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a keen attention to detail. Organisational and team work skills are also vital for this role.
