Senior Legal Counsel

Growing technology company seeks experienced Commercial / IT Solicitor to join it's growing in-house legal department. This is a brand new Senior Legal Counsel opportunity at an acquisitive and expanding business.

The company head office is located in North West England however remote/home working is an option. Applications are therefore welcome from those living in the North West and further afield.

Role - Senior Legal Counsel

To support the Legal Director and commercial stakeholders, our client has a need for an experienced Commercial / IT Solicitor to join the company as Senior Legal Counsel.

Sitting as the most senior team member in a relatively flat structure, the Senior Legal Counsel will: deal with complex and high-value negotiations with suppliers and customers; assist with strategic projects; help with the onboarding and amalgamation of post-acquisition companies; work on shaping process, strategy and policy; and help with Legal Director with other ad hoc legal, commercial and project matters as required.


About you:

Applicants applying for the Senior Legal Counsel position are anticipated to have circa 7-10 years' PQE, although more will be considered, ideally gained within the commercial and/or technology department of a leading regional, national or international law firm, or equivalent in-house department.

Existing technology experience is preferred and ideal applicants will have existing experience of unified communications, cloud and/or other ICT offerings in a fast-paced sales environment.


Location:

The head office is located in the North West of England however the Legal Director is happy to consider relevant applicants seeking remote/home working. You must however be willing to travel to the North West as and when required for business.
