The Role

3+ PQE Employment Lawyer to join Tier 1 Top 50 Bristol team at Associate level

Following continued investment and expansion, an ambitious lawyer is needed to join one of the UK's leading teams in the sector. Over 90 strong, the firm is investing heavily into the team.

Supporting numerous sectors that align with key areas for the firm, you will engage heavily with lynchpin organisations with Insurance, Health and Telecoms to name a few.

Acting upon matters both contentious and non-contentious matters, working on complex employment tribunal litigation, advising on major projects involving restructures, M&A, TUPE, collective consultation and general advisory work with clients on senior level issues, such as executive terminations or restrictive covenant disputes.

Heavily involved with business development and working in unison with clients, you will foster trusted relations with current and future clients, you with interpersonal skills and commercial mindset supporting the expansion of your own, and the firm's remit and reputation.

On a continued development trajectory from the onset, your development will be structured with the mindset of honing your expertise and promoting you within the team to a more senior role.

With there being multiple openings, those at Senior level are welcomed due to the continued growth of the team at all levels.

Requirements

  • 3+ years PQE experience in Employment, ideally in respondent matters for larger organisations
  • Commercially minded, and willing to engage in business development
  • Keen to develop expertise
