The Group

Established in 2000, Landmark Group has grown and innovated throughout its history. The Group and has three primary areas of operation: Landmark Investments, Landmark Collections and LDS Sales Guarantees. We have a current acquisition pipeline of £80m+ comprising of circa 8,300 additional units, and we manage a 21,000+ unit ground rent portfolio. We have issued over £500m of Sales Guarantees, a unique offering for SME developers and lenders.

At this stage in our growth, we require an experienced In-House Property Solicitor with specific experience of Residential matters to support us in improving our processes and speeding up everything we do.

The work

This is Landmark Group’s first solicitor appointment and as such your work will be varied and interesting. Day to day it will incorporate property transaction assistance, helping to run acquisitions, sales and financing matters, as well as managing relationships with external lawyers. You will develop legal templates, systems and processes, and provide regular reports on issues and risks of transactions, alongside assisting with property portfolio management.

Other work will include making a real contribution to strategic business projects and indeed Board/Exec commercial decision making. You will train and educate staff, and deal with ad hoc legal matters that arise in the running the business.

You

You will be a Property Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in private practice and/or in an in-house role in the Property sector and will bring with you knowledge and expertise within residential property work.

You will enjoy working at pace and be adaptable to the changing needs of the group as it grows, and there will be a great opportunity for the right person to progress with the business as they expand in the coming years.

Salary is competitive. This can be a full or part time appointment and will be based mainly from the Bolton head office, with the ability to work from home for part of the week.
