Property Litigation Solicitor
This Legal 500 firm has a thriving Dispute Resolution Department. An opportunity has arisen for an assistant solicitor to join its property litigation department.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload including:
- adverse possession
- restrictive covenants,
- commercial landlord and tenant,
- residential long leasehold disputes,
- residential possession proceedings.
Cases are undertaken in both the Court and Property Tribunal.
You will be academically strong and currently be practising at a well-regarded commercial real estate disputes practice. You will have a solid knowledge of general property law, notably landlord/tenant law as well as the Civil Procedure Rules.
You will be able to demonstrate sharp commercial acumen in understanding a client’s business and delivering commercially focussed advice
The role is very much client facing and you will be encouraged to take a very active role in business development initiatives.
You will receive excellent support and ongoing training from the partners and senior associates in the department but will also be given the autonomy to manage your own caseload.
