Production lawyer/business affairs specialist (TV) - 12 month FTC (maternity cover)

MATERNITY COVER – 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Our client is a highly successful global TV business and household name.  This unique and specialist team has a maternity cover position to start in June for a 12-month fixed term contract.

The sizeable and collegial business and legal affairs team seek a senior manager to negotiate all commercial and legal aspects of programme commission, co-production, acquisition, talent deals and other content-related agreements for a number of channels and platforms across varying regions with a particular focus on the UK. 

The successful candidate will be self-motivated with strong business affairs experience and legal negotiation skills. They will have a detailed working knowledge of all aspects of TV production, distribution and acquisition - this could be either from time within private practice or in-house.

You will be a natural high communicator with a flair for problem solving and derive enormous satisfaction from building strong relationships with your internal clients. 

You will also be comfortable with self-managing and working autonomously as you help the business in making commercial decisions and achieving results.

You will work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment during an extremely exciting time with a recent streaming platform launch. This position will give you great exposure to the production life cycle and beyond, as well as an opportunity to work independently in a very commercial way.
