This Tier 1 L500 firm is looking for someone to work closely with a highly respected and industry-leading Partner. The firm has grown substantially due to its excellence and collaborative efforts from Partners and the wider team. They are ranked in the highest tier across several practices, including the contentious trust and estates department.

The firm is based in the heart of the West End and has over 200 staff with a very low attrition rate due to their growth and support given to their high-quality lawyers.

They deal with the same quality of work as much larger City firms without all the disadvantages associated with being a small cog in a big machine. You will find that with smaller teams, it is common for NQ's and Partners to be working side by side. This is not a Partner-led, pyramid structure. Fee earners of all levels have the opportunity to be involved with business development. It is common for fee earners to gain a level of exposure beyond their peers in other firms.

The firm is seeking a Contentious Trust and Estates Lawyer to join their prestigious team in the West End.

The work that the department undertakes is of the highest quality.

The department regularly deal with all types of probate disputes, including will validity challenges, forgery disputes and bringing/defending challenges under the Inheritance Act. They also regularly deal with a wide range of trust disputes (high-profile trust companies on complex issues relating to succession and tax planning) as well as a wide variety of disputes.

  • You will be a Contentious Trust and Estate Solicitor, ideally 2-6 years PQE
  • You will ideally come from a leading City or West End practice
  • This role comes with excellent prospects for progression
  • You will have a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills are key
  • Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, plus an excellent benefits package
