The Role

3-5 PQE Solicitor/Fee earner/Lawyer to join Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked Employment team in Bristol

The Employment team supports a diverse selection of national corporate clients on matters both contentious and non-contentious, with your time being split between disputes and general advisory work with some corporate support work also.

The continued excellence across the team is reflected in the firm's expanding client base. You will be representing FTSE 250 clients, household names and international businesses.

The client base requires ongoing bespoke support in contentious matters that are complex and of a HNW. This allows for continued exposure to technically and strategically challenging matters, with the full support of not only the Bristol but also the UK-wide Employment team.

Day to day, you'll handle numerous Tribunal cases for employers, of which you'll have prepared from their inception through to final hearing.

You will also manage and comply with directions, including detailed discovery exercises and witness statement preparation, whilst also being on hand advise clients on employment issues, including disciplinary proceedings, grievances, redundancies and discrimination concerns.

You will offer guidance and undertake the preparing contracts of employment, policies/handbooks and advising upon on settlement agreements.

Regular engagement with existing and future clients is paramount to the success of the role, with the opportunity being to further your own reputation via networking at events, seminars and writing articles within relevant media.

In tune with the firm's focus on personal wellbeing and choice, you have the option to work from home if preferred.
