The banking team is growing and makes a steady contribution to overall firm revenues and profile. It is very important to the firm’s strategy. So, you will find a practice which remains ambitious and where there is considerable head room but also plenty of internal support with a mandate for continued growth.

The partners would like to talk to general debt finance lawyers or those with a focus on real estate finance. With a good stable of panel relationships among the clearing banks, foreign banks and also real estate funds the team have remained busy this year and anticipate getting a lot busier. There is plenty of support (associate, complementary teams and otherwise) available to do good quality, mid-market banking work.

The firm can show how successful it has been in attracting and supporting lateral hires into this team, supporting their own development and that of the banking practice overall. The partners are happy to consider individuals who either have an established practice or non-partner candidates who are ready to take the next step and have a network/profile that will provide a good platform for future BD successes.
