Currently, we're hiring a Data Privacy Paralegal to join us on a secondment to one of our prestigious life sciences clients, with:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paralegal, within either a FTSE100 in-house team or top-tier private practice environment
• Educated to degree level with minimum of 2:1 (LPC or BPTC is desirable)
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong commercial understanding and the ability to adapt to new situations and work environments
• High level of professionalism and good judgment
• Must be based in the UK (fully remote working at present)

The responsibilities for this role will include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of complex commercial contracts, threshold assessments, DPIAs
• Advising on GDPR and general privacy compliance matters for new product line and technology approvals, including website and application approvals
• Managing stakeholders and liaising with various in-house teams to meet business objectives and working collaboratively within a wider team or department
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant legal industry standards, news and updates
