Senior M&A Lawyer

Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Senior M&A Lawyer to work across the European portfolio of a London based private equity firm. The role is ideally based in Luxembourg but there is flexibility on this.

This Senior M&A Lawyer role (working in conjunction with external law firms) will lead and orchestrate cross border M&A transactions, group reorganisations and private equity/institutional fund-raisings.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a rapidly growing pan-European private equity firm looking after their European investments. The firm specialises in the healthcare and technology sectors in the small to mid-cap range. It is an exciting and dynamic fast-paced international working environment where you will be working on time-sensitive deals and be given a large amount of autonomy.

Luxembourg has one of the highest standards of living in the world and the luxurious office is very centrally located in the heart of the city of Luxembourg. The team you will be working in has a strong social culture outside of the office and you will be made to feel welcome from the outset.

This role would likely suit someone with 5 years plus PQE though candidates outside of this range are still encouraged to apply. Prior experience of M&A in either a leading law firm or investment firm is essential. Knowledge of German or French would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential as you will be working closely with investors (including UHNW individuals), portfolio management teams, debt providers, advisors and investment managers.

This Senior M&A Lawyer role is paying around €120K - €150K depending on experience plus bonus and benefits. There will be European travel required especially to London, Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris. A relocation package is offered if required.
