Senior In-House Legal Counsel

Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Senior In-House Legal Counsel to work across the European portfolio of a London based private equity firm. The role is based in Luxembourg.

This Senior In-House Legal Counsel role is responsible for; corporate governance; general company law & regulatory compliance; company secretarial activities; managing relationships with external law firms; providing effective legal support to portfolio company boards; and investor relations activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a rapidly growing pan-European private equity firm looking after their European investments. The firm specialises in the healthcare and technology sectors in the small to mid-cap range. It is an exciting and dynamic fast-paced international working environment where you will be given a large amount of autonomy.

Luxembourg has one of the highest standards of living in the world and the luxurious office is very centrally located in the heart of the city of Luxembourg. The team you will be working in has a strong social culture outside of the office and you will be made to feel welcome from the outset.

This role would likely suit someone with 5 years plus PQE though candidates outside of this range are still encouraged to apply. Prior experience of In-house counsel / company secretarial role in an international company or investment firm is essential. Knowledge of German or French would be very advantageous but is not essential (though you would be expected to learn with company support).

This Senior In-House Legal Counsel role is based in Luxembourg and is paying around €100K - €130K depending on experience plus bonus and benefits. There will be European travel required especially to London, Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris. A relocation package is offered if required.
