The Role

This Top 50 Legal 500 firm is seeking Employment Associate 5+ PQE to join office in Manchester.

This role will give the successful Employment Solicitor incredible exposure to some of the most extensive and high-profile contentious employment work in the country, and you will also be able to work on some incredibly good quality non-contentious work.

The role will be respondent focussed and include employment tribunals claims, disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring, redundancies, support on corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, restrictive covenants, industrial relations and collective issues.

The department is ranked as a "National Leader" in Chambers and Partners and will be part of the support and collegiate national team. They have over 25 solicitors in the team, including partners.

Due to a national presence you will work with experienced partners and blue chip clients in a diverse range of sectors.

Requirements

  • You will be an Employment Associate with 5+ years PQE
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
  • You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
  • You will have strong business development capabilities
