Job Details

Our client, a leading international firm, is looking for a US qualified lawyer to join their London based US Capital Markets team. The work will be wide variety of US Capital Markets work - covering High Yield Bond and US ECM/DCM work, with slightly more of a weighting towards the HYB/DCM work and even scope to be involved in M&A work.

The firm has invested extensively in London over the last few months in other practice areas and this is generating more work for the team. The hire will be reporting directly into the lead partner and, whilst immediate conversations regarding a track to partnership will not be possible at this point in time, the candidate will be viewed as a potential partner of the future and there will be no one between them and the partner in the current team structure.

With NY pay rates on offer, good prospects and a market leading team, the firm are ideally looking for someone:

  • US qualified;
  • 4-6PQE, although there will be some flexibility on this for the right person;
  • With experience working in a leading US Capital Markets practice (flexible on current location and current split of ECM/DCM/HYB provided the candidate is interested in a varied practice and a London based role going forwards);
  • Additional language skills would be beneficial but not required.
