Senior Associate - Data Protection (remote working, anywhere in the UK)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Protection Solicitor to join an exciting and fast-growing data privacy boutique law firm to help deliver on their ambitious growth strategy. 

The Role:

As a senior associate, you will be the key link between the firm and the clients, working on and overseeing some of the most interesting and technically challenging work.  You will take the lead on identifying client requirements and designing and delivering the most appropriate solutions.

You will also be expected to deliver on the following: 

·         Supervision and development of junior team members.

·         Leading contract reviews and negotiations for clients.

·         Advising on overseas data transfer issues.

·         Advising clients on data breaches.

·         Helping to build teams to deliver legal advice and DPO services effectively for clients.

About you:

You will have at least 5 years of experience as a qualified Solicitor ideally with IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM or a similar data protection qualification.

You will be a data regulatory specialist with experience in EY and global data regulations built over your 5 years of practice.  Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for commercial lawyers who have not specialised in data throughout their career.
