Clinical Negligence Solicitor
This firm are a top 50 national law firm in Birmingham and have a large Clinical Negligence team which covers all aspects of Healthcare law including clinical negligence, child law, clinical governance, consent to treatment, healthcare advisory and mental health.
The firm provide a supportive, proactive service based on a deep understanding of NHS procedures and the social/political background of public healthcare.
About the role
The Clinical Negligence Associate will have a varied caseload which will include:
* Managing a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated Clinical Negligence files, both straightforward and complex, efficiently and cost effectively
* Conduct relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim.
* Supervising junior team members including Paralegals and Trainees
You will be UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 months' experience in Clinical Negligence. This, however, is only a guide and candidates with more or less experience with the relevant skillset will be strongly considered. You will possess a real passion for Clinical Negligence and be able to form quick relationships with both your team and clients. You will also have excellent technical knowledge and will be an effective communicator with the ability to integrate well into a close knit team.
