In-House Property Litigation Lawyer (1-4yrs)

My client is a specialist residential property portfolio asset manager comprising c. 200,000 leasehold properties across the UK. This newly created opportunity will join an experienced team of In-House Lawyers who provide legal and compliance support across for the entire business operation. The majority of this portfolio consists of multi-occupancy blocks of apartments where expert conveyancing and transactional advice with litigation/dispute management experience is required.

The Role 
This newly created opportunity will focus on construction and real estate matters where you will join a legal team which focuses on building safety and compliance, including contentious and non-contentious issues. This will include working on high-value Government-funded remediation projects for cladding or aka combustible façade materials on high-rise buildings.

The Candidate
Must be a UK qualified (England & Wales) Solicitor with a minimum of 1yrs PQE gained in handling construction matters (contentious and non-contentious) and advising on construction documents and contracts. Ideally, you will have experience gained from a reputable residential property law firm with a focus on residential property litigation and knowledge of Landlord & Tenant legislation, and legal issues relevant to ground rent and residential long leasehold interests.
