The Role:

The firm is now looking for a commercially astute, entrepreneurial Partner to bolster their highly regarded, Legal 500 Corporate team, in the firm's recently renovated Manchester office.

The Corporate department deals with a broad client base from some of the world's largest corporations, to exciting start-ups. You will find that the work is international in scope, and the team regularly handle large-scale, multi-jurisdictional projects.

Your caseload will include mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, takeovers, private equity, venture capital, reorganisation, and corporate governance.

Their global Corporate team is vast and houses some of the world's most renowned Corporate lawyers. Their level of expertise and reputation cannot be overstated. You will be working side on side with respected Partners in their Manchester office, and you can expect a high level of exposure to some of the most interest and complex Corporate transactions that are happening in the world. You will have a high level of responsibility for your team's direction and growth, a level of autonomy unheard of at a firm of this size.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Corporate Partner with a minimum of 10 years' experience (there is no upper limit in regards to the amount of experience)
  • You should have experience in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, takeovers, private equity, venture capital, reorganisation, and corporate governance.
  • Experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional Corporate matters
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • You will be a commercially minded individual and will thrive on building client relationships and marketing your practice
  • Able to motivate and lead a team
