JOB TITLE: Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2 + PQE
LOCATION: London

THE ROLE:
The successful Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor will be responsible for providing sound and commercially minded clinical negligence advice to the NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts. You will be responsible for handling a varied and high value caseload of litigated and pre-litigated matters, investigating initial complaints, drafting Letters of Response, undertaking witness investigations, managing litigated cases and conducting mediation. You will become an integral member of a band 1 rated team, with a strong track record for alternative dispute resolution and successful defence cases in the high court and appeal courts. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake fantastic quality work with a market leading firm.
THE CANDIDATE:
As an established, ambitious and resilient Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will be motivated to provide exceptional client service within a highly regarded clinical negligence team. You will be proficient handling a broad range of clinical negligence matters, with a track record of excelling in similar challenging and dynamic environments. Displaying strong project management, drafting, and legal analysis skills, you will be both commercially and practically minded, with a desire to help develop NHSR/Insurer and Trust/Insured client relationships. Actively participating in business development, you will assume a proactive role managing the firm’s reputation both in and out of work.
