The flow of instructions demands the appointment of a recently qualified to mid level solicitor to join the thriving team. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in agricultural and rural affairs and be adept at dealing with the farming community and the issues that affect them.
Ideally you will have a solid grounding in rural property work, including sales, purchases, refinancing, dealing with transfers for development, succession transfers and agricultural tenancies. You will be working alongside recognised experts in this field and as such will benefit from excellent ongoing training and support. Experience in Private Client work would also be advantageous.

• tenancy issues
• succession planning
• partnerships and other structures
• planning and development
• single payment scheme entitlements and stewardship schemes
• grazing licences
• easements and wayleaves
The role is very much client facing and you will be encouraged to take a very active role in targeted business development activities to obtain new clients for the Agriculture Team. Cross selling is key and you will develop a clear understanding of the other business areas for effective internal referrals.
A highly competitive remuneration package is on offer and you will benefit from flexible working and a generous holiday plan.
You will be given every support in achieving your career aspirations.
Rest assured your application will be treated in the strictest confidence and that your CV will not be sent anywhere without your express consent.
