An opportunity has arisen in the company’s UK & Ireland business for a lawyer of circa 3 years’ post qualification experience. Reporting to the Head of Legal for UK & Ireland, you will be joining an outstanding global legal team and play an important part in providing proactive legal advice and support to the senior management team, working alongside the Head of Legal, in the areas of regulation and compliance, as well as a broad range of legal and commercial advice to the business generally. Ideally you will have gained some experience in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters with some experience of the insurance industry or financial services sector more broadly. You will have the opportunity to use and to gain experience of a wide variety of legal and commercial skills in this challenging and rewarding role. The business continues to grow, so the chance to advise on corporate transactions is always a possibility.
You will have trained with a leading law firm where you will have gained corporate and commercial experience, ideally with exposure to insurance work. Alternatively, you may already be working in-house in the insurance or financial services sector. The company is looking for someone who is keen to get involved and contribute to a high performance, proactive and supportive legal and management team.
