Our client is an inspirational TV and Film company. It has made some of the best, award winning content in both TV and Film.

As its reputation has flourished, it has attracted the best in the industry - writers, directors, producers and talent. It owes its success to the bright and talented people that it employs across all divisions of the business.

And it's hiring a TV Production lawyer to join this ambitious and collegiate group.

You will have the privilege of working on a wide variety of productions across both TV and film, although the initial focus will be on scripted TV content.

As this is a true Indie, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of a production. You will have a dual reporting line to the Head of TV and the Head of Film, both of whom have transitioned from legal roles to commercial ones.

You will be a key member of the in-house Business Affairs team. You will own and drive the structuring, negotiation and drafting of writer, underlying rights, cast, commissioner, production company and other related deals. You will work closely with the in-house team and external counsel to assist in finalising agreements.

You must have solid media experience in scripted TV production but we are open to considering all levels (ideally with 4 years TV Production experience). You might still be in private practice or may already be in-house.

You will be approachable, commercial and highly efficient with an ability to deal with complexity and still keep a sense of humour!
