Legal Counsel, FMCG Company, 9 month contract

The Opportunity 

The company now has a need for a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. In this role, you will work closely with the business, supporting on a range of legal matters ranging from customer and commercial contracts to marketing and labelling as well as to day to day business advice on other matters such as competition and litigation. You will work closely with senior management and be close to the running of the business on a day to day and strategic level.

About You

A broad in-house skill-set is key, with any FMCG or consumer experience being highly regarded; marketing or labelling experience will be well-utilised. This is an opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced consumer business and as a result, you will need to roll up your sleeves and be prepared to work across a wide variety of matters, with the help and support of a small but very capable legal team. You must be open to having some autonomy as well as working directly with the business.

Initially for a nine month fixed term contract, there is a chance the position will be made permanent.
